Assign a Vault to a Team

You can assign a Vault to each of your Teams. A Vault is a storage area on a server, and it is where Endpoint Cloud will store the backup data for all of the devices in a Team.

Typically, you assign a Vault to a Team when you first create the Team. But you can also edit a Team so that it uses a different Vault:

  1. Click Inventory or Protection.
  2. Hover the cursor over the name of the Team and then click on the option button ( ... ).
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Use the Assign a Vault combo-box to change the Vault for the Team.


  5. Click Save Team.

Alternatively, you can click Settings, select the option button for a Team on the list, and click Edit. You can then use the Assign a Vault combo-box as described above.
