Note

If the Inventory is empty, your Endpoint Cloud has not discovered any devices yet. You need to install the Discovery Agent on each of your devices and make sure that they have an Internet connection.

Devices Discovered

The Devices Discovered panel provides a summary of the devices that have been discovered.

devices-discovered.png

Field Description
Total The total number of devices that have been discovered (activated devices + at risk devices). Below the total number is the number of users. In the image above, Endpoint Cloud has discovered 21 devices and 19 users.
Activated

The number of discovered devices that have been activated.

Devices that are activated are either being backed up and protected or are waiting to be backed up and protected. When you first activate a device, its status is set to activated, but the activation does not begin until the next backup occurs.

Below the activated number is the number of users that have had their devices activated.

At Risk

The number of discovered devices that have not been activated and so are not protected or backed up by Endpoint Cloud.

Licenses
Available
The number of licenses currently being used and the total number of licenses you have available.

Devices Activated

The Devices Activated panel provides information about the devices that have been activated (set to be backed up and protected).

Inactive The number of discovered devices that have not connected to Endpoint Cloud in the last 30 days.

Data Discovered

The Data Discovered panel provides a summary of the types of business data that Endpoint Cloud has found on your devices. By default, it shows the Files with a summary of the file types and the amount of storage space required to back them up.

If you click on Locations, the panel provides a summary of the various places where the business data is found on your devices. It also provides details of the storage space needed to backup each location.

Teams Side Bar

On the left side of the Inventory page is the Teams side bar. This shows a list of the Teams that are set up in your Endpoint Cloud (plus All Devices and Unassigned, which are built-in).

If you click on a device in the device list, the device side bar appears. It shows extra information about the selected device. If you click on the View icon on the top corner, Endpoint Cloud shows the Device page, which contains a more in-depth view of the device, including its hardware and software.

Multi-Device Actions

You can use the device list to apply a single action to multiple devices. For example, you could assign multiple devices to the same Team.

Use the checkbox on the left of each device row to select a device. When you select the checkboxes, the action options appear at the bottom of the list. These work in the same way as for single devices, except that the action will apply to every device you selected.
