Where can I find the Endpoint Cloud Agent log file?

The Endpoint Cloud Agent log file can be found under the roaming directory of the logged-in AD user on the user's device in the following location:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Cibecs\Agent\Logs\agent.log

The Protection Agent log displays detailed information about significant events of your Endpoint Cloud Protection agent.

It contains errors, informational events and warnings.

Logged events typically include the following:

  • File indexing
  • Backup and Restore events
  • Encryption events
  • General communication-related events or warnings
