Recovery Instructions for 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Introduction

If your phone was lost or stolen, or you no longer have access to your authenticator app, follow these instructions to regain access and set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on a new device. The link provided in the recovery email brings you to this guide, enabling you to securely reset and re-establish 2FA for your Endpoint Cloud account.

Log in using Email Verification

  1. Attempt to Log in
    Enter your username and password on the login page, then click Log In.Login.png
  2. Select "Try another way"
    On the Enter your verification code screen, click on "Try another way".Try another way.png
  3. Check your Email
    Check your registered email inbox for a verification email containing a temporary OTP.Email Code - Try another way.png
  4. Enter the Verification Code
    Enter the OTP from your email into the provided fields on the login screen.OTP try another way.png
  5. Confirm and Complete Login
    Click CONFIRM CODE to finalize the verification and securely access your Endpoint Cloud account.

Set Up a New Authenticator App

To add a new authenticator app after losing access to your previous device, first temporarily disable and then re-enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):

  1. Disable 2FA: Follow the instructions on Disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

  2. Enable 2FA again: Follow the instructions on Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to configure your new authenticator app.

After successfully re-enabling 2FA, review and update your Trusted Devices to ensure optimal account security.
